More Than A Woman is a gathering space designed to support women to discuss experiences, deter recidivism, compare life notes, seek advice, find mentors, or just talk.  The belief is iron sharpens iron and that we are not crabs in a barrel but, a strong hand or shoulder to our sister however needed.  We can pull each other out of the box of being a burned-out employee, an angry woman, a tired wife and or mother by providing a safe and confidential outlet where women can take their social masks off, be open and honest, to express anger and sadness, if need be, and reveal all parts of themselves.  Our group is designed to spark thoughtful discussions and provide resources available for important topics like parenting, substance abuse, relationships, family, and employment concerns.
